Being that this is my first foray into video editing on any software, I was starting from square one with no preconceptions when I began this training course. Frankly, I was stunned at how quickly I became comfortable with the software. Another reviewer referred to the instructor's "heavy accent," which I believe is unfair. As an American, I have had no problems with the instructor's accent; in fact, I was pleasantly surprised that this instructor can speak for as long as he does without reverting to verbal crutches like "ummm" and "uhhh.
He knows this topic inside and out. Do not hesitate making this purchase. Having been a professional Avid editor the past 10 years, I discovered that the latest version of Adobe Premiere CS6 was an incredibly improved edit program with a lot friendlier friendlier to editors interface. This video course when combined with Adobe Classroom in a book will get you up and running in less than a week which is the time I had to transition from Avid MC6.
Perfect balance of instruction for those starting off on CS6. I have viewed My first learning Adobe Premiere Pro. I have viewed only a few lesson, and I find the tutorial very helpful.
